Materials science research symposium for undergraduate and high school students

Overview: This symposium will provide attendees a chance to network and learn more about the fields of materials discovery and computational materials science. The symposium will involve talks from Northwestern faculty and students, facility/campus tours, networking with Northwestern matsci grad students, and a poster session attended by people from the Northwestern materials science department. This symposium is co-hosted by the NSF Institute for Data Driven Dynamical Design (ID4) and the Northwestern University Research Program for High Schoolers (NURPH).
Participants: This symposium will bring together undergraduate, community college, and high school students from around the country who have participated summer research experience programs. All students who attend will be expected to present a poster at the poster session.
Financial support: This symposium is supported by the NSF Institute for Data Driven Dynamical Design (ID4). There is no registration fee, and we will cover participant travel costs (please see the travel information page for details).
