Accelerating Quantum Materials Discovery Workshop

All meeting activities will take place at the Colorado School of Mines. Room information will be provided on the agenda.

Travel Information

Lodging

The workshop will arrange lodging at a hotel that is a 10-15 minute drive from campus (Golden is small, and we don’t have enough hotel rooms within walking distance). We will provide you with a Lyft code you can use for travel to/from the hotel/campus. You must indicate what nights you need lodging on the workshop registration form. We will not reimburse you if you book your own lodging.

The workshop will provide most meals, but we will reimburse you for meals not provided by the workshop with a per diem reimbursement.

Travel to Golden, CO

Travel (plane, ground transportation to/from airports) will be covered up to $600. Attendees will be responsible for booking their own plane tickets. To have your travel covered by the workshop, all travel must be completed using the most economical means available. More details on travel policies will be provided after you register for the workshop.

The closest airport is the Denver International Airport (DEN). From DEN, Golden/Colorado School of Mines can be accessed by public transit (RTD-Denver), shuttle, Uber/Lyft, or car.

Parking

If you drive, visitors coming to Mines are required to purchase an hourly or daily parking permit. Additional information on visitor parking at Mines can be found here.
